Winter PCM Immersion Program at IIT Delhi - Abu Dhabi Campus

IIT Delhi organized a two-week PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) Immersion Program from December 11-22, 2023, to benefit high school students in Abu Dhabi. The program provided an exceptional opportunity for participants to delve into the realms of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics through an engaging mix of lab sessions and classes. The meticulously curated curriculum aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of these fundamental subjects, enhancing the participants' academic prowess. By combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on laboratory experiences, the program not only enriched the students' learning but also ignited a passion for these disciplines. The immersive nature of the initiative not only contributed to academic excellence but also served as a platform for fostering curiosity and innovation among the budding scholars.

The ADIPEC (Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference) has always been known as a nexus of innovation, industry insights, and global business. This year, amidst the vast expanse of corporate exhibits and industry workshops, there was a particularly intriguing stall that attracted scores of inquisitive visitors. IIT Delhi, one of India's premier technical institutions, unveiled a stimulating exhibit, blending cutting-edge technology with a grand vision for its upcoming Abu Dhabi campus.

Outreach Program in Abu Dhabi:

Conducted by IIT Delhi faculty and students, this program attracted around 100 students, providing insights into the various existing topics of contemporary interest and introducing the Institute's educational offerings. The students were constantly engaged and were rewarded with some prizes in recognition of their participation and performance.

Mathematics Immersion Program:

A 3-week mathematics immersion program led by IIT Delhi faculty aimed to enhance students' mathematical skills. Along with the Abu Dhabi Outreach program, this program to garnered substantial media attention in both the UAE and India. Eight IIT Delhi faculty members travelled to Abu Dhabi for this purpose.
